Nature Education Programs
SCHEDULING PROGRAMS—PROGRAM FEES:
Fees for the nature education programs are:
- Indoor, 1 hour programs at the Stone
Nature Center or in your school classroom
or organization’s meeting place.
($75 at Stone Nature Center / $115/hr at
your site + $ for travel outside Topeka)
- Outdoor, two hour, hands-on field trips
($5.00/student-$100 minimum -Indian
program and Rainforest program $6.00/person—$125 min. (3 adults who help with program - free)
- Also available—
- A limited number of full day programs which may include both an
enviornmental education component and an adventure challenge component (good
end of year activity)
- and specially created
programs / combinations

Reminders:
- Please schedule at least 2 weeks in advance; spring and fall times can be competitive
- Please be clear on how many groups / total participants
you wish to schedule
- Let us know how many parents to expect and if any of your students have special needs
- Please be prepared to go outside in hot or inclement weather with appropriate foot and outdoor wear, insect repellent, water and sun-screen.
